Import data from browsers
Yandex Browser can transfer bookmarks, browsing history, and other settings from another browser installed on your computer.
Import automatically
After installation, Yandex Browser asks if you want to transfer data from another browser.
You can transfer data from the default browser or select any other browser on your computer.
Choose the desired browser installed on your computer and click Import data.
The type of data that is imported depends on the operating system and browser it is imported from.
Alert
If you chose the browser by mistake, you will not be able to cancel the data import. The data will be added immediately. To delete this data, delete the current profile, then create a new one, and import the data manually from another browser.
Restriction
- Importing passwords from Internet Explorer is possible only in Windows 8, 10 and higher.
- Yandex Browser imports passwords from Mozilla Firefox with the same bit depth. For example, Yandex Browser (32-bit) imports passwords from Mozilla Firefox (32-bit).
