Zoom, font, and encoding
Zoom
Note
You might accidentally change the page zoom. For example, by pressing Ctrl as you scroll the mouse wheel. To return to normal zoom, click the icon on the right side of the SmartBox, then select Reset.
Zoom for all pages

Click → Settings → Websites.

In the Page zoom section, select the desired value from the list.
Zoom for a specific page

On the right side of the SmartBox, click .
-
Next to Zoom, click:
zoom out.
zoom in.

If you set the page zoom to a value other than 100%, a zoom indicator appears on the right side of the SmartBox. To change the zoom level:

Click the indicator.

In the window that opens:

Zoom in or out.
-
Click Reset to restore the zoom level to 100%.

The data about the zoom you set is saved in Yandex Browser. The next time you open the page, it uses your selected zoom level.
To delete zoom settings for specific pages:

Click → Settings → Websites.

In the Page zoom section, click Site settings.

Select the desired sites.
-
At the bottom of the screen, click Remove.

Alert
If you are using a one-button mouse in macOS, you need to perform all gestures by holding down the Ctrl key and the mouse button.

Font
To set the same font for all pages:

Click → Settings → Websites.

In the Font size section, click Font settings.

Select which fonts you want to use.
To increase font size:

Click → Settings → Websites.

In the Font size section, click Font settings.

Move the Font size slider to the right.
Blurry, faded, or fuzzy font
Disable ClearType
Disable ClearType anti-aliasing in Windows settings.
1. Open the Windows Control panel.
2. Choose System and type Adjust ClearType text in the search bar.
3. Disable the option.
Turn off GDIPP
If you have GDIPP installed, disable it temporarily and check how fonts are displayed.
Disable FXAA
Disable the global FXAA smoothing function in the video card settings:
1. In the Windows notification area, launch the video card manager.
2. Go to the 3D graphics management section.
3. Disable the FXAA smoothing.

Delete the Roboto font
In browsers based on the Chromium engine, fonts sometimes fade. In this case, try removing the Roboto font:
1. Open the Windows Control panel.
2. Open Fonts using the search bar.
3. Select the Roboto font and click Delete above the list of fonts.
Text encoding
If the text on a page is not displayed correctly, use encoding auto detection, or try changing the page encoding manually:

Click → Advanced → Text encoding.

Set the assumed page encoding, or select Automatically from the list.
Alert
Displaying text in uncommon languages requires installing additional fonts on your computer.
You can enter search queries in the address bar — the browser will understand what you need.
